Design of the jersey for the 30,685 registered runners for the 2024 20km Lausanne race.

Creation of the official poster and hand-drawn illustration for the 20KM Lausanne event in April 2024.

The poster features a victorious bird on a background of characters making a visible effort, as well as the hand-drawn mention of the event and its date, all in a double gradient of colors.

For its realization, I wanted to go back to the joys of the beginning of my practice as an illustrator, working by hand and with the tracing paper tool.

I worked with that and inked everything with a Rotring architect's pen for the fineness of the lines. The color research was then continued digitally.

The project was then adapted to other formats such as F12, F200 and A3, but also on the jersey given to all adult participants, an enhanced version for children, and a variation on the official vehicles of the race.

This is why the background pattern with the characters was reworked to become a seamless pattern, meaning that the repetition joints are not visible.

This gives the jersey a much stronger and more interesting graphic aspect and a challenge to achieve.

To maintain consistency with the overall project, the jerseys also have a warm gradient that applies in one direction for adults and in the other for children.

The project was complex due to its size and the number of variations that were made: the event's merchandising was also done based on the graphic elements of the official poster illustration. Caps, T-shirts, socks, towels, etc...
